Job summary

Maleo Offices is seeking a Finance Manager to lead and evolve its finance function, ensuring accurate information to support business decisions. The role is based in Lisbon/Porto with a path to broaden the scope as the company grows.

You will lead a team, oversee accounting, budgeting, treasury, and reporting while driving digital transformation and automation initiatives to improve processes and control. English proficiency is required for cross-border collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in finance roles with increasing responsibility.
• Experience coordinating and developing teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools.
• Good command of English.
• Analytical, structured and results-oriented profile.
• Interest in technology and exploring new tools, automations and digital solutions.
• Knowledge of CentralGest is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance team, fostering autonomy, rigor and the technical development of each team member.
• Ensure the quality, reliability and consistency of financial information.
• Oversee accounting and monthly and annual closing processes.
• Actively participate in the preparation, monitoring and review of budgets.
• Ensure treasury management and internal control procedures and mechanisms.
• Oversee audits and annual financial statements.
• Lead the improvement and digitalization of financial processes, identifying and implementing technological and automation solutions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial control and reporting.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making, providing clear, accurate and timely information.
