Portugal Active in Portugal is seeking a hands-on Finance Lead to own treasury, accounting, reporting, and control end to end. You will sit between operations and money, protecting solvency and driving structure and growth in a fast-paced hospitality and property business.

This role requires a degree in Finance or related field, 5+ years in a full-cycle finance function, 100% Portuguese fluency with professional English, advanced Excel, and experience with Sage or Primavera.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management or similar (mandatory).
• 5+ years in a genuine 360o finance role, mastering the full cycle (mandatory).
• 100% Portuguese fluency (mandatory) + professional English.
• Advanced Excel and accounting software: Sage, Primavera or similar (mandatory).
• Availability for 3 days per week at our Viana do Castelo office (mandatory).
• Fast, autonomous, precise, low ego, hands-on. A real team player.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily finance: cash, treasury, receivables, payments, liquidity.
• Anticipate solvency and cash flow risk.
• Bring a plan, not a problem.
• Be the bridge to the outsourced accounting firm and run the full cycle.
• Deliver monthly reporting: P&L, balance sheet, margins, KPIs, variances.
• Process salaries and support onboarding of new employees.
• Control costs across all departments and negotiate suppliers.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and the scenarios leadership decides on.
