Job summary

Quion Groep B.V. in Porto/Matosinhos is seeking an Application Specialist Finance to support and enhance finance-related applications. You will work closely with business and IT teams to ensure stability, reliability, and alignment with needs, delivering high-quality services across Porto and the Netherlands.

The role requires 3–5 years in ICT, experience in application management, and strong analytical skills. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and English at B2 level are essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional level in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant ICT experience in an ICT organisation, application management role or project/change environment.
• Experience with application configuration, application management, functional analysis, operational support or business application support.
• Knowledge of requirements management, gap analysis and impact assessment.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, application changes and clear documentation.
• Experience with Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.
• Experience working with Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe).
• Professional working proficiency in English (minimum B2 level). Dutch is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain finance-related applications and services.
• Ensure application stability, reliability, and business alignment.
• Implement new functionalities and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Finance stakeholders, Business Analysts, Developers, and IT Operations teams.
• Support the delivery of high-quality application services across Porto and the Netherlands.
