Quion, a leading mortgage servicing provider in the Netherlands, is expanding its international IT Change team and seeking an Application Specialist Finance to join the Porto office. You will support finance applications, ensure stability, and collaborate with Finance and IT staff to deliver high‑quality services.

Qualifikationen

As an Application Specialist Finance, you will support and enhance finance‑related applications, ensuring they remain stable, reliable, and aligned with business needs. Working closely with business and IT teams, you will contribute to application improvements and the delivery of high‑quality services.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support and maintain finance‑related applications and services.
• Ensure application stability, reliability, and business alignment.
• Implement new functionalities and continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Finance stakeholders, Business Analysts, Developers, and IT Operations teams.
• Support the delivery of high‑quality application services across Porto and the Netherlands.

What do you need for this position?

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional and intellectual level, preferably in Information Technology, Business Informatics, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in an ICT organisation, application management role or project/change environment.
• Experience with application configuration, application management, functional analysis, operational support or business application support.
• Knowledge of requirements management, gap analysis and impact assessment.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements, application changes and clear documentation.
• Experience with Incident, Change and Problem Management processes.
• Experience working with Agile ways of working, such as Scrum, Kanban and/or SAFe.
• Professional working proficiency in English (minimum B2 level). Dutch is a plus but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with finance‑related applications, financial processes or regulated financial services environments.
• Practical experience with user access management, authorisations, release implementation, monitoring, testing and supplier management.
• Experience with SQL and Azure.
• Experience working in an international environment.
