Key Responsibilities
- Process and carry out service orders on PV assets at the solar parks.
- Perform maintenance and repair on the main PV system components: inverters, PV modules, string cabling, DC generator junction boxes, protection/monitoring equipment, and AC distribution boards.
- Monitor inverters, transformers, and tracker systems; raise corrective action tickets and carry out the repairs.
- Keep communications working between the plant, the operations center, and key stakeholders (SCADA, DAS, servers, modems, routers, switches, firewalls).
- Use approved measuring equipment to confirm correct operation and to find faults.
- Record all work carried out and propose solutions for faults that cannot be corrected on site.
- Act as the main on‑site technical contact for customers.
- Carry out re‑commissioning and site inspections as required.
- Follow all safe work procedures and site HSE rules at all times.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the O&M Manager.
What You Bring
- Technical or vocational qualification (Spanish FP intermediate or higher level, or equivalent) in Electrical, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in PV design, installation, and/or maintenance.
Languages:
- Portuguese
- Other languages will be considered an asset.
