A Sungrow está a recrutar um(a) Engenheiro(a) de Field Service para apoiar clientes ESS e PV em Portugal. Perfil técnico, atuação direta no terreno, desde comissionamento até operação a longo prazo.

A função envolve diagnóstico, instalação, manutenção e suporte on-site, com forte foco em segurança, documentação técnica e colaboração com equipas internacionais e parceiros.

Qualifications

• Qualificação técnica em Engenharia Elétrica, Eletrônica de potência, Mecatrônica ou similar.
• Experiência em field service, comissionamento, manutenção ou suporte técnico em PV, ESS, BESS ou sistemas elétricos industriais.
• Capacidade de diagnosticar falhas em equipamento elétrico e oferecer soluções práticas para clientes.
• Comunicar-se de forma clara em Português e Inglês (nível C1); outros idiomas são um plus.
• Disponibilidade para viajar dentro de Portugal e possuir carta de condução válida.

Responsabilités

• Assumir a gestão de casos de clientes e fornecer apoio técnico onsite em Portugal.
• Diagnosticar e resolver problemas elétros, de comunicação, firmware e de sistemas em inversores PV e ESS.
• Executar apoio à instalação, comissionamento, manutenção preventiva, reparos, testes, upgrades e retrabalho em sites de clientes.
• Colaborar com Gestão de Projetos, parceiros e clientes durante comissionamento, aceitação no local e handover.
• Seguir procedimentos de saúde, segurança, qualidade e operar com mentalidade de segurança.
• Criar relatórios de serviço, documentação técnica, instruções de trabalho e feedback para melhoria contínua.

Your mission

Olá e bem-vindo à Sungrow! We are excited to welcome a Field Service Engineer to support our ESS and PV customers across Portugal. In this hands-on role, you will help keep clean-energy systems running reliably and deliver a great service experience from commissioning through long-term operation.

• Take ownership of assigned customer cases and provide timely on-site technical support across Portugal.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, communication, firmware, and system issues affecting PV inverters and energy storage solutions.
• Carry out installation support, commissioning, preventive maintenance, repairs, testing, upgrades, and rework activities at customer sites.
• Work closely with Project Management, partners, and customers during commissioning, site acceptance, and handover activities.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, quality, and operational procedures while maintaining a strong safety-first mindset.
• Create clear service reports, technical documentation, work instructions, and feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.

Your profile

That sounded exciting, right? To feel confident and successful in this role, your background could look like this:

• You hold a technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable discipline.
• You bring experience in field service, commissioning, maintenance, or technical support, ideally within PV, ESS, BESS, or industrial electrical systems.
• You are confident troubleshooting electrical equipment and enjoy finding practical solutions in customer-facing situations.
• You communicate clearly and professionally in Portuguese and English at C1 level; additional European languages or Chinese are a plus.
• You are comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and collaborating with international colleagues and external partners.
• You are willing to travel regularly within Portugal, participate in an on-call rota when needed, and hold a valid driving licence.
