Pangea is seeking a Field Service Supervisor for a Data Centre project in Porto, Portugal. The role requires overseeing LV switchgear testing, commissioning and service, with strong fault-finding and safety awareness.

Contract role (FTC 6 months) based on-site in Porto. Relevant electrical qualifications and 5+ years’ experience preferred, including familiarity with UPS, ATS and distribution systems.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years' electrical/field service experience.
• Hands-on LV switchgear experience and fault-finding capabilities.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee test, commissioning and service of LV switchgear and distribution systems.
• Fault-find and diagnose electrical, control and protection issues.
• Support testing of UPS, generators and critical power distribution systems.
• Read and interpret single-line diagrams and technical drawings.
• Liaise with manufacturers, contractors and clients; ensure safe completion of works.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee Test, commissioning and service LV switchgear and distribution systems.
• Fault-find and diagnose electrical, control and protection issues.
• Work with LV switchboards, ACBs, MCCBs, ATS, MCCs and busbar systems.
• Support testing of UPS, generator and critical power distribution systems.
• Read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics and technical drawings.
• Support equipment energisation, isolation and shutdown activities.
• Complete commissioning records, test sheets and service reports.
• Liaise with manufacturers, contractors, commissioning teams and clients.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with project procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' relevant electrical / field service experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with LV switchgear.
• Proven testing, commissioning and fault-finding experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
• Good understanding of electrical protection and distribution systems.
• Strong health & safety awareness.
• Relevant electrical qualifications/certifications.

Desirable

• Previous data centre or mission-critical experience.
• Experience with UPS, generators and ATS systems.
• Protection relay / trip testing experience.
• LV/HV switching experience.
• Manufacturer-specific switchgear training
