A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design and support electrical systems for mission-critical data centers in Lisbon, Portugal. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing power distribution and standby systems, creating SLDs, and coordinating with various teams. The role requires experience with ETAP, EPLAN, and DIALux. Fluency in English is essential, and additional languages are a plus. This is a 12-month freelance position with a negotiable rate.

Qualificações

• Experience with ETAP, EPLAN, Revit, and DIALux.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and redundancy systems.
• Exposure to HV/MV systems and BMS.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.

Electrical Design Engineer

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on mission‑critical data centers. You will design electrical systems, coordinate with teams, and support power system analysis.

What you’ll do:

• Design power distribution, grounding, lighting, and standby systems.
• Create SLDs, schematics, and panel schedules (Revit & EPLAN).
• Perform studies in ETAP and design lighting in DIALux.
• Work with mechanical, civil, and architectural teams.
• Support documentation, commissioning, and design reviews.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience with ETAP, EPLAN, Revit, DIALux.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and Tier redundancy (N, N+1, 2N).
• HV/MV systems, switchgear, and BMS exposure.
• Team player with problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.
