LuxGuard Solutions in Braga, Portugal, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in a fine dining setting. You will create and execute an exceptional menu highlighting local ingredients and Portuguese flavors, while upholding top standards of quality and presentation.

You will plan all kitchen operations, train and mentor staff, manage inventory, and collaborate with front-of-house to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Our fine dining restaurant in Braga Portugal is seeking a passionate and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team As the head of our kitchen you will be responsible for creating and executing an exceptional menu that showcases local ingredients and flavors while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee all aspects of food preparation and presentation ensuring consistency with restaurant standards
• Develop creative and innovative menus that showcase the best of Portuguese cuisine
• Train mentor and manage a team of sous chefs line cooks and other kitchen staff
• Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies to maintain efficient operation
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
• Continuously seek out new techniques trends and ingredients to elevate the culinary offerings at our restaurant

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in high-end restaurants or hotels
• Knowledge of Portuguese cuisine and familiarity with local ingredients is preferred
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with kitchen staff as well as front-of-house staff
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Flexible schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
• A passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients
