BlueHorizon in Funchal, Madeira, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. You will design and implement menus, oversee kitchen operations, and supervise staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive culinary knowledge, and the ability to manage inventory, costs, and guest satisfaction while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Portuguese language is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in fine dining.
• Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Strong leadership to manage a kitchen team.
• Ability to design innovative menus within budget.
• Excellent communication with management and guests.
• Excellent organizational skills for inventory control and scheduling.
• Portuguese language proficiency preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop creative menus that showcase local ingredients and reflect current food trends
• Manage food inventory and ordering to ensure freshness and cost control
• Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
