BYD Europe is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to act as the main technical interface between headquarters, regional partners, workshop networks, and customers across Europe. You will gain deep product knowledge, provide effective solutions, and help raise the quality and efficiency of regional technical services.

The role requires travel across Europe, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to train customers and partners on new product launches and updates.

Qualificações

• University degree in a relevant engineering/science field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in technical support or related environment.
• Fluent English and ability to work across European cultures.
• Technical background in NEVs/EVs or automotive electronics is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to regional partners, workshops, and customers across Europe via service portals, remote diagnostics, on-site assistance, and other channels.
• Analyze technical issues, understand customer needs, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in regional visits, technical meetings, seminars, and activities with partners and headquarters to strengthen regional technical service capabilities.
• Support planning and delivery of technical training, including on-site training for new product launches and updates.
• Monitor and report on typical failure trends, major issues, and quality concerns across Europe.
• Collaborate with teams to drive investigation and resolution of regional technical and quality issues.
• Contribute to preparation/publication of technical documentation, notices, troubleshooting guides, maintenance cases, and service materials.
• Support management of special/critical technical events with rapid response and on-site troubleshooting when required.
• Share field experience to improve technical support processes and customer satisfaction.
• Travel frequently across Europe to provide on-site support, training, and partner assistance.
