Bloq.it is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary team of backend, frontend, and firmware engineers. You will set objectives, provide feedback, and drive creative, thorough solutions to complex problems while aligning engineering with business goals.

You will collaborate with senior leadership and product teams, promote best practices, and focus on the growth and development of your engineers in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an engineering manager or similar leadership role.
• Hands-on software engineer with current coding experience.
• Experience building and hiring teams.
• Excellent leadership and English communication skills.
• Expertise in SOLID, TDD, design patterns, and refactoring.
• Experience working with senior management and product teams.
• Proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience leading teams on large-scale products.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a multi-skilled team of backend, frontend, and firmware engineers
• Set clear team and individual objectives, with performance feedback and development
• Build and empower a team to deliver practical solutions to complex problems
• Collaborate with Engineering leads to elevate the Engineering organisation
• Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to best practices and company standards
• Ensure code aligns with industry best practices (SOLID, tests)
• Collaborate with Product Managers and other EMs to align engineering with business goals
• Focus on growth and performance reviews of your team
