UJET leads the way in AI-powered contact center innovation and is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a real-time, cloud-based engineering team in Porto. You will drive architectural decisions, guide scalable solutions, and collaborate with product, design and engineering to shape the platform’s future.

The role demands strong leadership, excellent communication, and a track record of hiring high‑caliber engineers.

Qualificações

• Lead teams building tools and products at scale.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience managing engineers and prioritizing work across initiatives.
• Experience with web development and modern software practices.
• At least one programming language; familiarity with multiple languages is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Conceptualize features with product managers, designers, and engineers.
• Direct team in technical and architectural decisions.
• Balance technical and product work with prioritization to accelerate the business.
• Help triage bugs, production issues, and on-call escalations.
• Actively manage performance, provide coaching and career development.
