DataCamp in Portugal is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the teams powering our data science education platform. You’ll partner with Product and Design to shape direction, drive execution, and raise the bar on building and shipping software.

You’ll manage a cross-functional product engineering team, balancing rapid prototyping with long-term code health, while championing AI-native tooling and strong testing practices to deliver reliable, scalable systems.

Qualificações

• 7+ years building software across the stack with scalable system design.
• 3+ years leading engineering teams and growing people.
• Strong communicator who builds trust across Product, Design, and Data.
• Thrives in fast-paced start-up or early-stage environments.
• AI-native mindset with agentic coding tools experience.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality software in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Build and develop a high-performing full-stack team with autonomous projects.
• Drive delivery of high-quality software end-to-end from idea to release with healthy codebase.
• Set a high bar for agentic tooling to prototype faster and improve quality.
• Partner with Product and Design to define and execute the team's roadmap using data and user feedback.
• Lead technical decisions and architecture for scalability, reliability, and maintainability, including LLM-powered services.
