Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Counsel, Offboarding & Litigation based in Portugal to lead complex employment offboarding, pre-litigation, and litigation matters across EMEA. You will partner with HR, product, and operations to ensure compliant processes and scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years in employment law, strong litigation expertise, and the ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional regulations while balancing business objectives and client needs.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years post-qualification experience in employment law within EMEA.
• Experience leading offboarding, pre-litigation, and litigation matters.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA employment legislation and due process.
• Proven track record drafting legal submissions and managing external counsel.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end offboarding and litigation matters across EMEA.
• Manage disciplinary processes and statutory filings across jurisdictions.
• Draft termination notices, separation agreements, and evidence packages.
• Advise stakeholders on risk and settlement strategies.
• Collaborate with HR, Product, and Ops to ensure compliant processes.
• Coordinate with external counsel and oversee case quality.
