Addvolt in Porto, Portugal is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our multidisciplinary teams working across hardware, firmware, and software. You will drive data collection from Telematics systems, design reusable drivers, and contribute to power electronics and device control across telematics projects.

The role emphasizes hands-on embedded C on microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M), debugging with scopes and analyzers, and writing clean, modular code.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of embedded C experience in real-time systems.
• Hands-on with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers.
• Experience with CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP.
• Ability to write clean, reusable, portable code.
• Strong debugging skills with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Solid understanding of embedded hardware interfaces.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across hardware and software teams.
