Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club in Melides, Portugal is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to keep generators, lighting and electrical systems in top condition. You will diagnose problems, repair or replace components, and respond quickly to downtime to minimize impact on operations.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of electrical experience, an electrician qualification certificate, and familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.

Qualificações

• Minimum 9th year of schooling.
• Minimum 5 years demonstrated electrical experience.
• Electrician qualification certificate.
• Proven work experience as a Maintenance Electrician.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical systems and the National Electrical Code.
• Good problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Keep generator, lighting, and electrical systems in working order.
• Diagnose problems and repair/replace defective parts.
• Act quickly when a breakdown occurs and inform management about continuity of operations.
• Estimate how long a shutdown will last when regular activities must be stopped.
• Inspect new electrical services (220v and three phase), including wiring, pumps, conduit, panels, breakers, relays, timers and controls.
• Perform electrical maintenance and repair work; install/replace fixtures, switches, receptacles and wiring; use standard power tools.
• Handle other duties and special projects as assigned.

The Electro Mechanical is a team member of the HOA Department. He/she is responsible for completing maintenance jobs in an efficient manner, promoting job worksite safety, providing excellent customer service, and exhibits pride and quality workmanship.

What you will do?

• Keep generator, lighting, and electrical systems in working order;
• Diagnose problems and then repair/replace defective parts;
• Need to act quickly when a breakdown occurs, must be able to tell management whether the problem can be corrected and whether business can continue as usual;
• If regular activities must be stopped, the electrician will have to estimate how long a shutdown will last;
• Make periodic inspection for new electrical services (220v and three phase), including wiring, pumps, conduit, panels, breakers, contractors, relays, timers and controls;
• Performs electrical maintenance and repair work; install/replace fixtures, switches, receptacles and wiring;
• Operates a variety of standard power tools, equipment and trenchers in electrical installations, maintenance and repair activities on a regular basis;
• Other duties and special projects as assigned.
