A leading IT Consulting Company in Lisbon is seeking an experienced ECAD Consultant. This role involves optimizing ECAD environments and collaborating with hardware teams on electronic development. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering and significant experience in electronic design and tools like Zuken CR8000. Strong programming skills in C#, C++, and PowerShell are highly desired, along with excellent communication skills in English. We are looking for a ECAD Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Support and optimize ECAD environments used in electronic development.
• Work with electronic design tools such as Zuken CR8000 or similar ECAD platforms.
• Support schematic and layout design processes and collaborate closely with hardware development teams.
• Contribute to the improvement of R&D hardware development processes.
• Integrate and support ECAD solutions within PLM environments, preferably Teamcenter and EDA Client.
• Develop scripts and automation solutions to extend ECAD applications and improve workflows.

SKILLS:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a comparable field, or qualification as a state‑certified electrical engineer.
• Senior Experience:
• Several years of experience in electronic development, ECAD support, or schematic/layout design processes.
• Hands‑on experience with Zuken CR8000 or other electronic design tools.
• Good understanding of R&D development processes, especially in hardware and electronics development.
• Strong IT affinity and experience supporting technical systems and engineering processes.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience in the PLM domain, ideally with Teamcenter and EDA Client.
• Strong programming and automation skills with languages such as C#, C++, PowerShell, Visual Basic, AutoIT, and CMD.
• Excellent English communication skills (German is a plus).
