Cross Border Talents in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking a Customer Service Representative fluent in Dutch and English to be the primary contact for customers and insurance brokers. You will handle inquiries via phone and email and provide information about insurance products and policies.

The role requires experience in customer service, preferably in insurance, and excellent communication skills. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating shifts between 07:30 and 20:00, weekends off, on-site

• Fluent or native-level proficiency in Dutch.

About the Position

Join a dynamic international team in Lisbon as a Customer Service Representative, serving as a primary point of contact for customers and insurance brokers.

In this role, you will handle customer inquiries in Dutch and English via phone and email, provide detailed information about insurance products and policies, and assist customers with their requests in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via phone and email.
• Provide detailed information about insurance products and policies.
• Answer questions regarding insurance coverage.
• Assist customers with policy cancellations.
• Support insurance brokers by handling and directing their inquiries.
• Manage both inbound and outbound calls.
• Respond to customer emails professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain a friendly and professional attitude in all customer interactions.
• Remain calm and effective when handling challenging situations.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive information while maintaining high service standards.

Working Schedule

• Monday to Friday, including bank holidays.
• Rotational shifts between 07:30 and 20:00.
• Weekends off.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance sector.
• Fluent or native-level proficiency in Dutch.
• Strong proficiency in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
