Job summary

Nestlé Business Services (NBS) Lisbon is seeking an International Logistics Import/Export - Freight Specialist to manage end-to-end freight for Nestlé Professional projects. You will define delivery modes, ensure customs compliance, and work with warehouses, purchasing, and managers to optimize processes.

Required are a degree in business administration, logistics or supply chain, strong SAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI.

Position Summary

We are currently looking for an International Logistics Import/Export - Freight Specialist. Reporting to Trade Assets Supervisor, this professional will be responsible to ensure end-to-end freight management of all transportations related with Nestle Professional (Obsidian Project). Define schedules and delivery modes used to be compliant and costs effective. Guarantee documents clearance and ensure compliance with company policies customs and shipping legislation. Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes.

A day in the life of...

• Supervises the movement of the goods


• Research ideal shipping, routing, and carriers


• Coordination with overseas suppliers, customs brokers, and freight forwarders.


• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders


• Responsible for organizing and managing the shipments (and delivery modes used) from pickup to delivery at markets.


• Ensure all the needed documentation


• Accountability to make goods arrive to Customer

• Degree in business administration, logistic, supply chain or relevant field


• Solid understanding of logistics


• Competence in international related transportation and shipping


• Good domain of SAP navigation


• Knowledge of Excel and Power BI


• Import/Export regulamentation knowledge
