Job summary

Nestlé Business Services (NBS) Lisbon is seeking a Documentation Specialist (Freight) to oversee transport documentation and scheduling for Nestlé Professional projects. You will ensure compliance and cost-effectiveness while coordinating with warehouses, purchasing and other managers.

The role requires a degree in business administration, logistics or related field, solid logistics knowledge, and proficiency with SAP navigation, Excel and Power BI in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in business administration, logistics or related field.
• Solid understanding of logistics and international transportation.
• Experience with SAP navigation, Excel and Power BI.
• Knowledge of import/export regulations.
• Experience in freight/shipping documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise transportation movements and shipments schedules.
• Research optimal shipping routes, carriers and methods.
• Resolve issues related to shipped orders and documentation.
• Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and managers to optimize processes.
• Ensure goods arrive on time to customers.

Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a Documentation Specialist (Freight). Reporting to Trade Assets Supervisor, this professionalwill be responsibleto ensure all transportations related with Nestle Professional (Obsidian Project). Define schedules and delivery modes used to be compliant and costs effective. Guarantee documents clearance and ensure compliance with company policies and shipping legislation. Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and other managers to optimize processes.

A day in the life of...

• Supervises the movement of the goods
• Research ideal shipping, routing, and carriers
• Resolve issues regarding shipped orders
• Be responsible of the organization of all the schedules of shipments, number of goods to be delivered, delivery modes used
• Ensure all the needed documentation
• Accountability to make goods arrive to Customer

• Competence in international related transportation and shipping
• Good domain of SAP navigation
