Job summary

emagine is seeking a DMS Product Manager to lead core product evolutions for Dealer Management System needs across regions, aligning with client strategy and roadmaps. You will oversee the team and ensure SLA achievement with careful prioritization of bug tickets.

The role requires deep knowledge of the automotive business and DMS deployments (iCar, Datacar, Eris). You will coordinate with XS, Professional Services, Customer Support, and Sales to deliver value.

Job description

The DMS Product Manager (Dealer Management System) is in charge, with his team, to define Core product evolutions in line with market and customer needs, in alignment with our client product strategy and to build the Roadmap. He also has a role on achievement of SLA with prioritization of Bug Tickets.

The position requires very good knowledge of the automotive business with its corresponding impact in the DMS (Dealer Management System). A focus will be done on the DMS solutions in use in regions, where iCar, Datacar and Eris are used, but could also involve other products (CRM, complementary use cases…) and people from other departments and/or countries.

Your Responsibilities

Product activities

• Product roadmap: in collaboration with the DMS Product Director and according to our client strategy, define goals and manage the corresponding roadmap focusing on the DMSs (iCar).
• Be active in monitoring other people's user experiences and upcoming legal requirements and provide valuable insights to your colleagues.
• Market & competitors & customer context analysis
• Validate requirements (Epic and Features) and acceptance criteria provided by the analysts of the team.
• Customer dialogue to capture overall requirements for the product.
• Manage the backlog and priorities (Epic and Features): Manage backlog and ensure the team builds a healthy mix of innovation, efficiencies and maintenance.
• Prioritize the work the development team is doing, so that at the start of each iteration prioritize what provides the most value to the customer and/or product right now – work on Sprint of development – while also sharing the product vision on a regular basis (quarterly).
• Delivery approval of the finished solution.
• Manage Pilot Phase for each main release.
• Collaborate with the Deployment teams that will package and deliver the new DMS releases to our customers.
• Can participate in Pre-Sales presentations of the DMS evolutions. Participate in customer/supplier meetings and pre-sale.
• Can participate in Pre-Sales quotations preparation (with Sales and XS teams
• Guarantee the SDLC Process (Product side)

Management activities

• Conduct regular team meetings so that employees are informed of priorities, results, ongoing actions.
• Define and monitor annual performance objectives and conduct annual employee interviews.
• Decide with your N+1 and the management team on staffing needs, salary increases, promotions and employee changes.
• Identify team training and development needs. Define, plan and formalize the integration path of its new employees.
• Ensure multiple skills within your team (2 employees capable of performing the same task) and update your team’s competency matrices.
• Monitor the management of employee attendance and absences in the time management system in place.
