Job summary

Diconium is seeking a Director Procurement to lead and transform its European procurement organization. You will drive the operating model, build a high-performing team of four, and collaborate with Legal, IT and Finance to ensure compliant, streamlined processes across the contract lifecycle.

You will shape governance for procurement, contract management, and supplier relations while enabling cross-functional, data-driven decisions and scalable outcomes across Europe.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in procurement, purchasing or transformation
• Proven experience in leading teams and driving organizational change
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance and contract management
• Experience designing, implementing or optimizing end-to-end procurement processes
• Familiarity with information security, compliance or regulatory requirements is desirable
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Structured, analytical mindset with hands-on approach
• Comfortable building new structures in evolving environments
• Strong communication and ability to translate complex requirements into practical processes
• Experience in international or European environments
• Excellent English skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe

Responsibilities

• Drive transformation of the European procurement organization and shape its future operating model
• Lead and develop a team of four procurement professionals
• Review, streamline and improve procurement processes and workflows
• Establish a scalable Contract Management framework across the organization
• Define governance for the entire contract lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and ISO 27001
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, IT and Information Security
• Identify automation, standardization and digitalization opportunities
• Develop and implement procurement policies, standards and guidelines
• Establish KPIs and reporting structures for data-driven decisions
• Strengthen supplier governance and risk monitoring
• Support strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations as needed
• Act as sparring partner to Senior Director Procurement and stakeholders
• Drive change initiatives from concept to adoption
