Job summary

Diconium seeks a Director Procurement to transform its European procurement organization, lead a team of four experts, and strengthen governance and contract management. You will collaborate with Information Security, Legal, Finance, and IT to deliver scalable, compliant procurement processes across Europe.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, process optimization, and driving digitalization while aligning with regulatory requirements and strategic sourcing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or transformation projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive organizational change.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, governance and contract management.
• Experience designing or optimizing end-to-end procurement workflows.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements like NIS2 and ISO 27001 is highly desirable.
• Ability to collaborate with Legal, Finance, IT and Information Security.
• Structured, analytical mindset with hands-on approach.
• Experience in international/European environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive the transformation of our European Procurement organization and shape its future operating model.
• Lead and develop a team of four procurement professionals.
• Review and optimize existing procurement processes and workflows.
• Establish a scalable, transparent Contract Management framework.
• Define governance for the entire contract lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with NIS2 and ISO 27001 requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Geography and functions to establish cross-functional processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation and digitalization in procurement.
• Develop and implement procurement policies and guidelines.
• Establish KPIs and reporting for data-driven decisions.
• Strengthen supplier governance and risk monitoring.
• Support strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations as needed.
• Act as sparring partner for Senior Director Procurement across Europe.
• Drive change initiatives from concept to adoption.
