Diaverum in Setúbal, Portugal is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support the nursing team, prepare treatment rooms, assist patients, and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment during daily clinic activities.

The ideal candidate has a healthcare qualification, experience in healthcare settings, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Availability to work rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons and nights) in a patient-centered multidisciplinary team is essential.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the nursing team in delivering patient care;
• Prepare and ensure the proper conditions for treatment rooms and clinical activities;
• Assist and support patients throughout their time at the clinic;
• Ensure the cleaning, disinfection and organisation of clinical equipment and materials in accordance with established procedures;
• Replenishand manage clinical supplies and consumables required for daily operations;
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, welcoming and patient-centred environment.

Requirements:

• Healthcare Assistant qualification or similar healthcare-related training (preferred);
• Previous experience in healthcare settings;
• Availability towork rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons and nights);
• Team-oriented mindset;
