DevOps / Platform Engineer – AWS & Kafka

Job summary

You’ll work with 800+ professionals across Lisbon, Porto, and Madrid, collaborating with Development and Operations teams on impactful technology initiatives. We value curiosity, commitment, and real impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering or Data Engineering environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM and CloudWatch.
• Good programming/scripting skills in Python and/or Bash/Zsh, particularly for automation and infrastructure tooling.
• Experience developing automation scripts involving REST APIs, CLI tools, file processing and data transformation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, using GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of Git, including branching workflows, merge requests and CI/CD integration.
• Basic knowledge or practical experience with Apache Kafka or event-streaming platforms, including topics, producers and consumers.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting cloud/platform environments.
• Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both Development and Operations teams.

Requirements

• Exposure to Snowflake or modern data platforms.
• Previous experience in a Platform Engineering or Operational Support team.
• AWS certification.
