Empa-T, a company that centers people in technology, is seeking a DevOps Platform Engineer to join an international team in Lisbon. You will design, automate and evolve cloud-native platforms, building scalable Kubernetes environments and delivering robust CI/CD pipelines to enable development teams.

Responsibilities include deploying Kubernetes platforms (OpenShift, Rancher, GKE, OKD), automating infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and managing cloud resources across Azure, AWS and GCP.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes ecosystems (OpenShift, Rancher, GKE, OKD).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Terraform and Ansible for automation and provisioning.
• Linux, networking and security fundamentals.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Fluency in English.

You will play a key role in building and maintainingscalable Kubernetes environments, enabling development teams through automation and delivering robust CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and maintain Kubernetes-based platforms (OpenShift, Rancher, GKE, OKD)


• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions and Argo CD


• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)


• Manage cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS and GCP environments


• Support application lifecycle management using Helm and GitOps practices


• Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, observability and performance optimization


• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and developer experience


• Contribute to internal platform tooling and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• + 2 years of experience in DevOps / Platform Engineering roles


• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes ecosystems (OpenShift, Rancher, GKE, OKD)


• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo CD)


• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)


• Experience with Terraform and Ansible for automation and provisioning


• Good understanding of Linux, networking and security fundamentals


• Experience with Python scripting for automation


• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)


• Fluency in English
