Job summary

Vodafone Group Plc is seeking a Lead for the Cyber Security/Prevent team in Logging & Monitoring. You will oversee platform configuration, provide technical leadership across squads, and collaborate with product owners to prioritise the backlog while reducing cyber risks.

The role requires expertise in Elastic Stack, Python, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/Ansible), and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure). A hybrid work model and international mobility opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Lead the Cyber Security/Prevent team in Logging & Monitoring, supporting security tools and driving platform optimization across Vodafone Group and local markets.

What you’ll do

• Oversee platform configuration, development, and optimization.

Who you are

• BigQuery or similar cloud technology;
• Cyber security data analysis and mapping;
• Stakeholder engagement;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Excellent communication and collaboration;
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
• Fluency in English.

Additional Experience (Preferred)

• Platform operations in complex environments;
• CI/CD pipeline development;
• Site reliability engineering and operational monitoring;
• Cloud-native/open-source tools;
• Automation infrastructure (Git, CI/CD, container registry);
• Data-driven decision-making.
