Adecco Recruitment is seeking a Deputy Head of Infrastructure to lead and coordinate the companys IT infrastructure and operations. This senior role demands ensuring availability, security, and resilience of infrastructure while aligning IT with business needs in an on-site Lisbon setting.

You will oversee technical teams, manage projects and vendors, and drive continuous improvement of IT services and business continuity processes. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or Telecommunications.
• Solid experience in managing IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
• Proven leadership of technical teams.
• Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of infrastructure architectures and best practices.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and SLAs.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Spanish knowledge is a plus (nice to have).

• Define strategy and evolution of the IT infrastructure across systems, networks, telecommunications, and security.
• Ensure the availability, security, performance, and maintenance of the organization''s technology infrastructure.

• Plan and oversee technology projects, ensuring delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry best practices for infrastructure management.
• Manage technology vendors and external partners, overseeing contracts, SLAs, and delivery quality.

• Prepare management reports on departmental performance, ongoing projects, key challenges, and investment needs.
• Support senior management in decision-making related to technology, infrastructure, and IT operations.

We are looking for a Deputy Head of Infrastructure to lead and coordinate the companys IT infrastructure and operations department. This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for ensuring the availability, security, and resilience of technological infrastructure, while aligning IT capabilities with business needs and operational objectives. You will oversee technical teams, manage technology projects and external providers, and ensure the continuous improvement of IT services, infrastructure, and business continuity processes.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal – On-site

Contract: direct hire with the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy and evolution of the IT infrastructure, covering Systems, Networks, Telecommunications, and Security.
• Ensure the availability, security, performance, and maintenance of the organizations technology infrastructure.
• Lead the IT department by setting priorities, responsibilities, and objectives, while ensuring effective resource allocation and team performance.

• Solid experience in managing IT Systems, Networks, Telecommunications, and Infrastructure.
• Proven experience leading and managing technical teams.

• Knowledge of infrastructure architectures, technology services, and operational best practices.
• Experience managing technology vendors, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
