Intermedia Intelligent Communications is seeking a Data Scientist to join our AI Data Science team in Portugal. You will develop advanced ML and AI techniques, including LLMs and RAG, to enhance our digital agents and knowledge retrieval.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Analytics, or a related quantitative field; Master's degree preferred.
• 4+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, applied AI, or a related analytical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with SQL and large‑scale data processing technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI, large language models, NLP, or other modern AI technologies.
• Experience taking machine learning or AI solutions beyond experimentation and contributing to their deployment and operation in production environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, evaluate, and improve machine learning and generative AI solutions powering Intermedia's Digital Agent Platform.
• Design and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions grounded in enterprise information.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, software engineers, and product teams to deploy data science solutions.
• Establish rigorous evaluation frameworks and run offline/online experiments to measure model quality and business impact.
• Ensure data and model quality with testing, validation, and production readiness.
