OSRAM Lda. in Carnaxide, Portugal seeks a Senior Data Scientist for Generative AI & ML to design, deploy, and scale AI-powered solutions across the business. You will work with LLMs, AI agents, and Copilot-based experiences, collaborating with business and tech teams to deliver real value.

The role emphasizes MLOps, CI/CD, and governance, with a strong focus on secure and responsible AI adoption. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong background in Data Science and Machine Learning, including data exploration, feature engineering, statistical modeling, and model evaluation.
• Hands-on experience deploying ML solutions such as forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, classification, or optimization.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI agents.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, including model deployment, monitoring, lifecycle management, and operationalization of AI solutions.
• Proficiency in Python and production‑ready code.
• Knowledge of Azure cloud services (AI, data, security, and identity).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and scale AI-powered solutions with measurable business impact.
• Develop AI-powered applications, agents, and Copilot experiences using LLMs.
• Design and optimize LLM-based solutions with prompt engineering and RAG.
• Evaluate, fine‑tune, and improve AI systems with testing and guardrails.
• Apply MLOps, CI/CD, monitoring, and governance to production AI solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate challenges into scalable AI products.
• Ensure secure AI adoption with data protection and identity management.
• Create best practices and guidance to accelerate AI adoption.
• Act as trusted advisor to help teams implement AI opportunities.
