Job summary

Decskill is seeking a Data Run Engineer to join our Performance and Run team in a hybrid arrangement based in Porto. You will manage incidents, implement system evolutions, and develop data components across data construction and enhancement projects using GCP, BigQuery, and SSIS.

You will leverage Power BI for reporting and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements, contributing to data transformation initiatives in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with GCP and data engineering in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of data processing and ETL design.
• Experience in Agile teams and incident management.

We would like to meet a Data Run Engineer for a project with a hybrid working model:

As part of the Performance and Run team, you will:

• Manage incidents efficiently, minimize operational impact, and contribute to the continuous improvement of production environments.
• Implement necessary system evolutions while ensuring operational continuity.
• Develop specific technical components as part of data construction and enhancement projects.
• Contribute to the transformation of the Data product and the development of new data capabilities.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, particularly BigQuery and Composer, to optimize data management and processing.
• Use Power BI for reporting and data visualization, and SSIS for data flow integration.
• Collaborate with the Squad Lead to ensure effective coordination, delivery, and successful execution of activities.
• Engage proactively with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
