A leading company in Sales & Marketing outsourcing is seeking a Data Specialist in Lisbon, Portugal. This mid-senior level role involves engaging with stakeholders, managing data solutions, and optimizing BI datasets on Azure. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a related field, advanced Power BI skills, and 3-5 years of experience in technical data roles. Qualificações

• 3-5 years in technical data roles with BI/reporting experience.
• Advanced Power BI skills including DAX optimization.
• Experience with Azure cloud data sources.
• Experience using Azure data sources and combining external data (SFTP, flat files); AWS/GCP exposure desirable.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and oversee delivery.
• Desirable: ability to contribute directly to development when needed.
• Proven record of managing stakeholders and cross-functional projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese; Portuguese residence required.

Responsabilidades

Your Mission:

• Engage stakeholders & clients – attend client meetings, gather requirements, and translate business needs into clear scopes for technical delivery.
• Bridge business & technology – work with IT, data, and technical teams, supporting solution design and development.
• Safeguard data integrity – ensure quality, scalability, and governance in partnership with the central data team.
• Manage and support data solutions – oversee reliability, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to solution development.
• Develop & optimize BI datasets – champion robust Power BI solutions based on Azure data sources, with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Promote a data-driven culture – deliver and optimize dashboards (Power BI, Pyramid), ensuring insights are accurate, consistent, and actionable.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 3‑5 years in technical data roles, with experience managing or mentoring BI/reporting professionals.
• Advanced Power BI expertise (data modeling, DAX optimization, RLS).
• Experience in creating solutions using Azure cloud data sources and combining external data (SFTP, flat files); AWS/GCP exposure desirable.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and oversee delivery.
• Desirable: ability to contribute directly to development when needed.
• Proven record of managing stakeholders, client relationships, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English (Portuguese mandatory).
• Portuguese residence (mandatory).
