We Are META, based in Lisbon, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our innovative team where you will enhance your network across diverse tech sectors. This role focuses on data engineering involving tools like DBT, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Ideal candidates will have 3-4 years of experience in data engineering, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with tools such as Dataiku and Power BI. A hybrid working model is available, making this a great opportunity for professionals looking to balance work and life.

Qualificações

• 3-4 years of experience in Data Engineering or related role.
• Hands‑on experience with DBT Core, including CLI‑based development.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with analytics databases.
• Intermediate knowledge of data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with Git‑based workflows.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts for data pipelines.
• Experience with Python for data tasks.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP is a nice to have.
• Hands‑on experience with Dataiku is a nice to have.
• Hands‑on experience with PowerBI is a nice to have.
• Experience with machine learning models in Dataiku is a nice to have.
• Exposure to Generative AI or LLM use cases is a nice to have.
• Fluency in English (B2 Level or above) is required.
• Availability for hybrid regime in Lisbon.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 3-4 years of experience in Data Engineering or related role;
• Hands‑on experience with DBT Core, including CLI‑based development and version control;
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines;
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with analytics databases or data warehouses;
• Intermediate knowledge of data modeling concepts (e.g., star schema, medallion architecture);
• Familiarity with Git‑based workflows;
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts applied to data pipelines;
• Experience with Python for data processing and/or orchestration tasks;
• Exposure to cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, GCP - is a nice to have;
• Hands‑on experience with Dataiku for data preparation and analytics workflows is a nice to have;
• Hands‑on experience with PowerBI (data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices) is a nice to have;
• Experience building or supporting machine learning models in Dataiku is a nice to have;
• Exposure to Generative AI or LLM‑based use cases (e.g., embeddings, prompt engineering) is a nice to have;
• Fluency in English (B2 Level or above) is required;
• Availability for a hybrid regime, 2x/semana, in Lisbon (candidates must be based in Portugal and Portuguese or other EU citizenship, or a valid Portuguese work permit is required).
