We are looking for a Data Engineer!

Location: Lisbon

Level of Experience: Mid (3 to 6 years)

Salary Package & Benefits: €1,200 to €2,000 (salary base) + Food Allowance + Flex Benefits!

Main Tasks:

• Design high-performance data pipelines (ETL) to feed a DWH using state of the art data engineering techniques according to business specifications.
• Implement flow automation through CI/CD pipelines and end-to-end release of artifacts across environments.
• Design data models and schemas as well as providing architectural guidance and recommendations according to traditional BI best practices.
• Provide end- users with support on the handling of Dataiku, with support on the implementation of best practices.

Technical skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Intelligence or other relevant area;
• Relevant professional experience as a data engineer is mandatory (1 - 4 years);
• Knowledge of ETL and / or ELT data integration processes (Alteryx or Talend, for example) is mandatory;
• Proficiency in SQL is mandatory;
• Proficiency in Python and / or PySpark is mandatory;
• Proficiency in Apache Nifi, Dataiku and / or Tableau is a plus;
• Previous banking experience is a plus;
• Knowledge of credit risk is a plus;
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and JIRA is a plus;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
