WE ARE META is seeking a Data Engineer (w/MLOps) to join our Lisbon-based team in a hybrid role. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines on GCP, focusing on BigQuery, Lakehouse patterns, and seamless integration across services.

You\'ll implement and operate MLOps workflows: packaging, deployment, monitoring of models, and CI/CD automation with GitHub Actions. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required, and you must be based in Portugal with valid work authorization.

Qualificações

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer / MLOps Engineer.
• GCP (BigQuery focus) and modern data architectures (Lakehouse/Data Lake).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation for production deployments.
• Build and maintain complex data pipelines (batch & streaming) and API integrations.
• MLOps knowledge: model lifecycle management, packaging, deployment, and monitoring.
• Fluency in English (B2/C1) and Portuguese, based in Portugal with work eligibility.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer / MLOps Engineer
• Hands‑on expertise with GCP (BigQuery focus) and modern data architectures (Lakehouse/Data Lake), including layered data modeling and pipeline design.
• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions or equivalent) for scalable, production‑grade deployments.
• Proven ability to build and maintain complex data pipelines (batch & streaming), API integrations, and Monorepo‑structured codebases.
• Practical MLOps knowledge covering model lifecycle management, packaging, deployment, and monitoring in production environments.
• Fluency in English B2/C1 + Portuguese (Fluent)
• Availability for a hybrid model (based in Lisbon, Portugal)
• Candidate has to be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
