Decskill is seeking a SAP BO Data Engineer to design data schemas, model data, and manage end‑to‑end deployment across environments. You will work with SAP BO Universes, perform upgrades, and support data infrastructure activities in a multi‑country setting.

The role requires experience with SAP BO, SQL, and data visualization tools, plus familiarity with Linux environments. You will contribute to data governance and digital product deployments within a growing IT consulting team.

Qualificações

• Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) knowledge is mandatory.
• Experience with SAP BO upgrades and Universe migrations.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata).

Responsabilidades

• Manage releases and automate deployment of artifacts across environments.

We would like to meet a SAP BO Data Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Design data schemas and model data structures according to business and technical requirements.
• Manage releases and automate the end‑to‑end deployment of artifacts across different environments.
• Perform data migrations and support database and data infrastructure activities.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot data‑related issues.
• Create and evolve SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) Universes.
• Implement user groups, access controls, and restrictions in SAP BO.
• Design and develop high‑performance data pipelines.
• Perform SAP BO version upgrades and migrations.
• Perform SAP BO Universe migrations.
• Support all data and data infrastructure‑related activities.
• Apply database optimization skills and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to data governance and the deployment of digital products.

Requirements:

• University degree, or equivalent professional experience, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• SAP BusinessObjects (SAP BO) knowledge — mandatory.
• Experience with SAP BO version upgrades and SAP BO Universe migrations.
• Experience with database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, or other relational database technologies.
• Knowledge of database optimization and performance‑related activities.
• Programming knowledge in Python — nice to have.
• Knowledge of SQL — nice to have.
• Knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools, such as Power BI, Alteryx, Dataiku.
• Some familiarity with Linux environments.
• Experience with digital product deployments is a plus.
• Experience with third‑party data governance is a plus.
