Decskill, part of the Astek Group, is expanding and seeking a Database Engineer (SQL Server Expert) to join a hybrid project in Porto. You will be the subject matter expert for SQL Server databases infrastructure, driving patch management and major version upgrades, and developing automation scripts.

We value hands-on engineers who can script in PowerShell and Python, work with DevOps tools, and collaborate with international teams on long-term initiatives.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of other RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Automation experience with Ansible.
• Python programming skills.
• PowerShell scripting abilities.
• Experience with DevOps tools for CI/CD (GIT, Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, XLDeploy).

Responsibilities:

• Subject matter expert on SQL Server Databases infrastructure;
• Experience on SQL Server patch management and major version upgrade;
• Scripting;

Requirements:

• Knowledge on other SGBD technologies (Oracle, MySQL, PostGRE, MongoDB);
• Experience in automation with Ansible;
• Python programming;
• Powershell scripting;
• Experience in development using DevOPs tools (GIT Bitbucket, Confluence, JIRA, Jenkins, XLDeploy to manage CI/CD environments).
