Decskill is growing and seeking a Data Engineer to join our IT consulting team with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Madrid. You will participate in workshops to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical specs, and contribute to data integration across jurisdictions.

You will work with SQL, Python, and BI tools such as PowerBI and Tableau, collaborating in agile projects to deliver robust data solutions and support for other products.

Qualificações

• Proven ability to work in agile environments and deliver in cross-functional teams.
• Strong data visualization or data preparation experience with BI tools.
• Solid SQL proficiency and programming knowledge (Python/Java).
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in workshops to gather and formalize business requirements; write functional and technical specs and documentation (DI/DE).
• Map data domains, define consumer groups and jurisdiction rules.
• Develop solution/framework; implement jurisdictions and perform unit testing.
• Ensure implementation follow-up and provide support across other products.
• Define and lead the validation phase with end-users.

We would like to meet a Data Engineer!

Responsibilities:

• Participate in workshops to gather and formalize business requirements. Define functional and technical requirements, and write technical documentation (DI/DE).
• Map TPN data, define consumer groups and associated jurisdiction rules .
• Develop the solution and technical framework. Implement the framework, implement all jurisdictions, and perform unit testing
• Ensure implementation follow-up and support with other 4ALL products
• Define and lead the validation phase with end-users.

Requirements:

• Agile Methodologies.
• Proficiency in Jira, Concluence, ALM Octane.
• Data Visualization and Data Preparation tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Dataiku, ...).
• Mastery of SQL and programming language (Python, Java, ...).
• Mastery of a programming language (Denodo, Python, Java, ...);
• Knowledge of a cloud environment (AWS, IBM, ...).
• IT - Business/IT relationship.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Creativity & Innovation/ Problem solving.
• Ability to understand, explain and support change.
• Ability to collaborate/Teamwork.
