Job summary

Next Engineering is looking for a Data Engineer to join our Porto team. If you have 6+ years of proven experience and hands-on work with Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics, you’re in the right place.

You will design data integration, transformation and modeling, implement Medallion Architecture, work with SQL, Python and PySpark, and integrate SAP or Salesforce. Base salary 1400–2000€ plus food allowance, flex benefits and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Experience working with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• Experience integrating SAP, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Lineage principles.
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in data environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with technical and business teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with both technical and business teams.
