Finsolutia in Lisbon seeks a Data Engineer (ETL/SQL/BI) with 4+ years of experience to join our DataTeam. You will develop T-SQL procedures, use Databricks PySpark, and design Power BI reports to drive strategic insights.

You will implement best practices, ensure data security, and deliver actionable analytics to monitor KPIs. Fluency in English is required; Portuguese knowledge is valued.

Formación

• 4+ years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment or 5 years in any industry sector.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL (advanced level) and performance optimization.
• Solid experience with ETL processes.
• Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards, datasets, DAX, and SQL for optimal performance.
• Proven experience with Databricks.
• Good knowledge of Python. Knowledge of Powershell is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of Portuguese will be positively valued.

For this reason, we are looking for a Data Engineer (ETL/SQL/BI) with at least 4-5 years of experience performing similar duties to join our DataTeam in Lisbon.

What will you do on a day-to-day basis?

• Develop and implement advanced T-SQL procedures and functions, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

• Use Databricks PySpark & SparkSQL to integrate data efficiently into Data Warehouse.

• Design and build impactful Power BI reports and dashboards (Operational, Strategic & Analytical) using DAX, Power Query, and advanced data modelling.

• Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes to drive efficiency and quality.

• Deliver insights that help the business monitor KPIs and make informed, data-driven decisions.

• Creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.

• Ensuring data security and compliance with best practices.

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues in Power BI reports.

• Ensure the reliability and performance of developed reports and dashboards for both internal and external users.
