Job summary

Finsolutia in Lisbon seeks a Data Engineer (ETL/SQL/BI) with 4+ years of experience to join our DataTeam. You will develop T-SQL procedures, use Databricks PySpark, and design Power BI reports to drive strategic insights.

You will implement best practices, ensure data security, and deliver actionable analytics to monitor KPIs. Fluency in English is required; Portuguese knowledge is valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in an Enterprise environment or 5 years in any industry sector.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL (advanced level) and performance optimization.
• Solid experience with ETL processes.
• Proficiency in developing and tuning Power BI dashboards, datasets, DAX, and SQL for optimal performance.
• Proven experience with Databricks.
• Good knowledge of Python. Knowledge of Powershell is a plus.
• Fluency in English.
• Knowledge of Portuguese will be positively valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced T-SQL procedures and functions.
• Use Databricks PySpark & SparkSQL to integrate data into Data Warehouse.
• Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX and Power Query.
• Define and implement best practices, guidelines, and repeatable processes.
• Deliver insights to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decisions.
• Create complex DAX calculations and measures for data analysis.
• Ensure data security and compliance with best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Power BI reports.
• Ensure reliability and performance of reports for internal and external users.
