Closer Consulting in Lisbon is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design high-performance data pipelines and DWH feeds in a hybrid role. You will implement CI/CD for artifacts, shape data models, and guide BI best practices while supporting Dataiku and Tableau users.

The position includes mentoring juniors and collaborating with stakeholders in a dynamic BI/AI environment. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years as a data engineer, strong SQL and Python/PySpark skills, and exposure to CI/CD, BI

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Intelligence or other relevant area.
• 5 - 7 years of professional experience as a data engineer.
• Knowledge of ETL and / or ELT data integration processes (Alteryx or Talend) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in SQL is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Python and / or PySpark is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Apache NiFi, Dataiku and / or Tableau is a plus.
• Previous banking experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of credit risk is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and JIRA is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsabilidades

• Design high-performance data pipelines (ETL) to feed a DWH using state of the art data engineering techniques according to business specifications.
• Implement flow automation through CI / CD pipelines and end-to-end release of artifacts across environments.
• Design data models and schemas as well as providing architectural guidance and recommendations according to traditional BI best practices.
• Provide end-users with support on the handling of Dataiku and Tableau, with support on the implementation of best practices.
• Coach and guidance towards junior team members, as well as stakeholders.

Technical skills:
