We are now looking for a Junior Data Engineer willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team.

Are you the one?

• Education: Degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years in Data Engineering, BI, or similar roles (relevant internships included).
• Technical Toolkit:
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks or Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency in PySpark and SQL/Python.
• Familiarity with Power BI.
• Foundational Knowledge: Understanding of Parquet/Delta Lake formats and modern data workflows.
• Mindset: A problem-solver with an interest in Agile, DevOps, and DataOps methodologies.

What You Will Do

• Build & Maintain: Develop ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Transform Data: Use PySpark to process and transform data within Data Lake / Lakehouse architectures.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the team to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure Quality: Guarantee data consistency, reliability, and performance across all pipelines.
• Document & Learn: Maintain clear documentation of your processes and continuously evolve your skills through hands-on mentorship.
