Closer Consulting, a Lisbon-based data science company, is seeking a Senior Analyst/Developer for a hybrid role in Lisbon. You will work on back-end APIs, front-end components, and cross-functional initiatives in a finance-influenced environment.

The role requires strong Java/Spring Boot experience, Angular skills, and fluency in English. Collaboration across locations and analytical problem solving are essential to succeed.

Qualificações

• Must have strong Java development experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
• Excellent English written and spoken is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role; experience in finance is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop Back-end & APIs using Java/Spring Boot.
• Analyze requirements and write technical/functional documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues (L3 support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Analyst/Developer to take on new challenges in a hybrid work model in Lisbon.

• Develop Back-end & APIs (Java/Springboot)
• Perform analysis (technical and functional) and write corresponding documentation
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues (L3 support)
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Develop Front-end screens (Angular)
• Technical skills:
• Back-end: Strong experience in Java development, specifically within the Spring Framework (Spring Boot)
• Understanding of infrastructure, networks and systems connectivity (e.g., APIs)
• Advanced T-SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers, User-Defined Functions, CTEs)
• Minimum 3 years in a similar position and preferably in financial industry
• Languages
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory Expert
• Soft Skills:
• Experience of working within a global organization and working with teams across several locations
• Demonstrable ability to face challenges with an analytical approach and to find solutions to effectively solve problems
• At ease with financial concepts and/or interested to learn the Business & Bank organization
• Capable and organized team player with excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills, who shares ideas and best practice within the team and across the organization for the benefit of the business
