Empa-T is seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join an international banking project, focusing on vulnerability management, threat monitoring, and strengthening the organization’s security posture across a global, multi-entity environment.

You will work with a specialized Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud team to identify risks, coordinate remediation, and drive governance improvements while communicating findings to executives.

Qualificações

• 8+ years in cybersecurity, IT security, vulnerability management, or related areas.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, management, and security posture monitoring.
• Knowledge of offensive security concepts, testing methodologies, and security assessments.
• Experience with security rating platforms and external attack surface monitoring.

Responsabilidades

• Perform vulnerability assessments and security scans across internet-exposed assets.
• Monitor and manage external security posture and ratings.
• Support remediation efforts with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Manage cybersecurity SaaS solutions related to vulnerability management and security scoring.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and external partners for security tooling.
• Prepare vulnerability reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Participate in evaluating and implementing new cybersecurity solutions and services.
• Analyze cyber risks and translate findings into remediation plans.
• Contribute to offensive security initiatives and vulnerability management programs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, risk, and operations teams across entities.
• Monitor emerging threats and trends to enhance security capabilities.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Expert to join an international Banking project, contributing to the protection of internet-facing assets, vulnerability management initiatives, and the continuous improvement of the organization's cybersecurity posture.

You will join a highly specialized Cybersecurity & Digital Fraud team, working alongside international experts to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber risks across a complex and global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments and security scans across internet-exposed assets
• Monitor and contribute to the management of security ratings and external security posture
• Support vulnerability remediation efforts by working closely with technical teams and stakeholders
• Manage and optimize cybersecurity SaaS solutions related to vulnerability management and security scoring
• Maintain relationships with cybersecurity technology vendors and external partners
• Prepare vulnerability reports, dashboards, and executive presentations for senior stakeholders and CISO-level audiences
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new cybersecurity solutions and services
• Analyze cyber risks and provide recommendations to improve security controls and resilience
• Contribute to offensive security initiatives and vulnerability management programs
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, risk, and operational teams across multiple entities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cybersecurity governance and risk management
• Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends to enhance the organization's security capabilities

Skills & Experience

• +8 years of Experience in Cybersecurity, IT Security, Vulnerability Management, or related areas
• Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity risk management
• Experience with vulnerability assessment, vulnerability management, and security posture monitoring
• Knowledge of offensive security concepts, penetration testing methodologies, and security assessment techniques
• Experience working with security rating platforms and external attack surface monitoring solutions
• Experience with PowerBI, Excel and SQL
• Experience with Qualys, BitSight, or similar vulnerability and security rating platforms is highly valued
• Ability to analyze security findings and translate them into actionable remediation plans
• Experience creating dashboards, reports, and presentations for technical and executive audiences
• Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, controls, and best practices
• Ability to work in large-scale and international environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English
• French is a plus
