Job summary

PTJ Fedex Express Portugal, Unip., Lda is seeking a Clearance Broker to join our Customs Clearance team. You will review shipments, ensure documentation accuracy, and create compliant clearance declarations using in-house systems.

You will contact customers and government agencies as needed and resolve routine disputes while building strong customer relationships. The role requires strong teamwork, regulatory knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy office environment.
• Understanding of clearance-related regulations and import/export processes.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review shipments data to determine customer and regulatory requirements and verify documentation.
• Use in-house systems to create accurate clearance declarations.
• Contact customers or government agencies to clarify information when needed.
• Resolve routine customer and customs disputes.
• Build relationships with customers and help select best clearance services.
• Work within tight time frames in a busy office environment.
