Aptiv is seeking a Customer Product Quality Engineer in Portugal to act as the primary liaison between customers, manufacturing and product development, ensuring satisfaction and driving problem solving. You will support new product introductions, oversee returns, and lead cross-functional teams in applying 8D, SPC, MSA and PFMEA to improve quality and compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Management, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in an industrial environment (preferably automotive).
• Proficient English-speaking skills (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA, AIAG).
• Familiarity with automotive core tools (SPC, MSA, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

As a Customer Product Quality Engineer, you will be the key link between customers, manufacturing and product development, ensuring customer satisfaction, driving problem solving & continuous improvement, enhancing APTIV automotive footprint. Reporting to the Program Quality Manager, you will:

Your Role

Your Background
