A global automotive technology leader is seeking a Junior Process Engineer in Lisbon. In this full-time role, you will support engineering documentation, prototype development, and product quality analysis. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, along with one year of experience in manufacturing process development, especially in the automotive sector. Strong communication skills, time management, and proficiency in English at B2 level are essential.

Qualificações

• 1 year of professional experience in manufacturing process development, preferably in automotive.
• Knowledge of foreign languages is a plus.
• Good understanding of technical knowledge and design principles.

Responsabilidades

• Support engineering documentation, prototype development, and basic testing activities.
• Assist in analyzing product quality and performance, contributing to improvements.
• Input data into DFMEA and help with cost estimation tasks.
• Participate in resolving production issues and support training efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams and assist in customer communications.

YOUR ROLE

• Support engineering documentation, prototype development, and basic testing activities under supervision.
• Assist in analyzing product quality and performance, contributing to improvements and reporting.
• Input data into DFMEA and help with cost estimation and manufacturing engineering tasks.
• Participate in resolving simple production issues and support on‑the‑job training efforts.
• Learn and apply Aptiv standards, customer requirements, and basic analytical tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams and assist in customer communications, contributing to process improvements.

Your background

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field
• 1 year of professional experience in manufacturing process development, especially in automotive or similar industry.
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
• Knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Effective time management and task/project execution
• Good understanding of technical knowledge and design principles
• High level of analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
