Aptiv in Braga, Portugal is seeking a test engineering professional to develop and optimize electrical test programs and tooling for assigned product lines. You will contribute to SOW creation, participate in MSD and kickoff workshops, and ensure robust test coverage and documentation across global teams.

The role emphasizes 6-Sigma methods, cross-functional collaboration, and English fluency in a multinational environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree or similar with technical education.
• Proficient software development skills in LabVIEW, LabWindows CVI, TestStand, C++, C.
• Knowledge of CAN, LIN, LVDS, FlexRay, BroadR-Reach and flashing concepts of memory devices.
• Knowledge in SSFT and statistical methods.
• Good problem solving capability.
• Ability to work in a global network environment.
• Energetic, self-motivated and proactive.
• Business fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Work on test software, hardware and application specific tooling for assigned product programs.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing functional tests (electrical).
• Develop statement of work (SOW) for test and programming processes/equipment.
• Support kick-off meetings and MSD workshops with/in the PML for the assigned project.
• Enforce proper requirements management for the assigned test process.
• Facilitate test coverage analysis and request design changes for test coverage issues.
• Utilize 6-Sigma for Test Statistical Analysis Methods to optimize CPK performance of parametric electrical tests.
• Track needed test equipment/tools and ensure availability of material for all equipment/tool development.
• Perform test equipment buy-off at suppliers and drive capability studies.
• Document the assigned test process per Aptiv procedures.
• Provide equipment training to PML test engineers (latest after PV).
• Participate in escalation meetings on program management level as needed.
• Support global Test Site team for post series test processes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, LVDS, Flex-Ray, Broad@Reach and flashing concepts of memory devices
• Knowledge in SSFT and statistical methods
• Good problem solving capability
• Ability to work and live a global network environment
• Energetic, self-motivated, and proactive work style
• Business fluent English
